First posting to the macports-user list. Hello!
I'm a new(bie) MacPorts user and as a first project I'm trying to get
postfix, dovecot and mysql working but am running into problems with
dovecot. It appears there's no +mysql variant available. There are a
couple tickets showing discussion and a patch file from many months
ago <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/17709> but I don't see anything
after that. If I've somehow missed it, I apologize.
I'm not quite sure how to proceed. Any pointers would be greatly
appreciated.
Also, MacPorts dovecot is at 1.1.16 while the dovecot.org release is
at 1.2.10. Is there a typical duration between version updates for
ports?
