It would, but you probably don't have to go that far.
I would guess that you have p5.8-module-corelist installed, which conflicts
with p5.12-module-corelist. Try uninstalling pflogsumm's perl5.8-specific
dependencies:
$ sudo port uninstall --follow-dependencies p5.8-date-calc
