Hello,
The only glib I could find is in the list provided to you. I am wondering if there are too many linking errors and broken ports:

---> Scanning binaries for linking errors: 100.0%
---> Found 4559 broken file(s), matching files to ports
---> Found 95 broken port(s), determining rebuild order

        I noticed that Macports now does these scans.

And what version of the glib2 port is actually installed?

port installed glib2

The version currently available in MacPorts is 2.32.4 which should satisfy the above requirement.

glib2 @2.32.4_0 (active)

I see, that is odd then.

Could you attach the config.log? It should be in this directory:

/opt/local/var/macports/build/ _opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync .macports.org_release_ports_graphics_gdk-pixbuf2/gdk-pixbuf2/work/ gdk-pixbuf-2.26.4

        Right where you said it would be:

<config.log>

Thanks. The config.log unfortunately doesn't shed any light on why this check failed; it merely reiterates that it failed.

I see you're on a G4 with Leopard. In case this was something PowerPC- or Leopard-specific I tried on my G4 with Leopard, but it built this version of gdk-pixbuf2 just fine.

Do you perhaps have an older copy of glib2 (version 2.28.8) installed somewhere else, such as in /usr/local? If so, move /usr/ local out of the way, clean the port and try again.
