Hello,
I also encounter the glib problem when trying to fix the broken links.
I believe the rev-update also does not kick in automatically when
when the upgrade kicks out upon detecting an error.

The only glib I could find is in the list provided to you. I am
wondering if there are too many linking errors and broken ports:
---> Scanning binaries for linking errors: 100.0%
---> Found 4559 broken file(s), matching files to ports
---> Found 95 broken port(s), determining rebuild order
I noticed that Macports now does these scans.
Yes, that's the "rev-upgrade" feature. What ports are broken? You
should fix all these errors by rebuilding all the affected ports.
rev-upgrade should have done so for you automatically, unless you
interrupted it by pressing ^C or asked it not to by editing the
setting in your macports.conf.
