We've already seen that building any of the gcc ports can fail when using APFS and parallel building (which is the default). https://trac.macports.org/ticket/54829 Now that we have binaries built for gcc6, gcc7, and gcc8 this is hopefully less of a concern. Who knows what other weird problems we will encounter due to the filesystem change.
