 Are you sure you're advertising to the right person? Your user is not always 
the person making the purchase. Have you thought about marketing to the 
Universities? It's probably different between countries and even each 
educational institution, but in some cases the school buys a batch license for 
a certain product, and then hands copies out to the students in a course.

 Have you talked to people *at* the universities? Have you found out how 
students get their software? If you want to sell to a market, you need to know 
people in that market, and be able to talk to them to become familiar with 
their constraints and needs. If you don't do that, you'll just be wasting time 
and effort talking to the wrong person.
