Great. I attach a small bash script to easily change the brigthness. I use xbindkeys [1] to map F8 to "keyboard_brigthness 0" F9 to "keyboard_brigthness -10" and F10 to "keyboard_brigthness +10"
(I should drop the old interface in applesmc.patch...)
