Correct. Maybe I'm old school, but I didn't notice much of a problem as 
long as you don't try to run gl-based applications (or eye candy). The 
CPUs are fast enough for full screen video and normal 2D work. Similar 
to the performance you get with the vesa driver, I thought.

Having to set 'Option "ShadowFB" "false"' to work around the stride bug 
in xorg 7.1 makes window moves and resizes painful though. It's like 
using a 486 again. :)
