I didn't mention it because AFAIK very few settings from xorg.conf are
used by the driver (especially the modelines are of no use). I use my
standard xorg.conf which contains just the following concerning the
driver:

Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Intel Corporation Mobile Integrated Graphics 
Controller"
        Driver          "i810"
        BusID           "PCI:0:2:0"
