Hi, thanks for you input regarding this. I know that 99% of all ALSA related problems are just mixer problems, but all I can say is that I already tried hard to find a working setting in alsamixer. I also tried different input devices that worked without problems on other computers. (iPod, microphone). Do you still have this working setup running? I would like to know some more details. - kernel version - related patches - what hardware configuration (Line out connected? If yes, analog or digital?) - what Device was connected to Line in A snapshot of your working mixer settings would be helpful, too.
