Hi, now I got it working. The trick is that I need the sigmatel_audio.patch from mactel-linux.org and that "Line In as Output" must be muted. I already tried it with the patch in the past and was also quite sure that I tried nearly all combinations of muting/unmuting the several channels. However, it looks like I missed this one. This strenghtens my prejudice that the whole mixer stuff in ALSA is causing nothing but problems for a lot of users even for such a simple task like an ordinary recording over Line in. It's just a mystery to me why the hell I have 12 Channels in alsamixer for a device that has just 2 jacks (in and out).
