mem disk

(MacbookPro CoreDuo)

When I do 'echo mem > /sys/power/state' I end up with a blinking cursor on a
black background. No resume.
But when I hold the power-button down to reboot, the LED in front went to the
sleeping one, the screen goes on again and then the system shuts down.

Kernel 2.6.20 with mactel patches.
Any hints?

Michael
