I can only acknoledge this behaviour on my MacMini CoreDuo, left channel is crackling also here. Also the signal level is very poor, so that connected to a rather old stereo the alsamixer must set to 100%. I am using Ubuntu Edgy with Ubuntu Kernel 2.6.17-10-generic. Does a patched vanilla kernel have the same problem? Cheerz - Dan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
