I'm running

OpenGL version string: 2.0.6334 (8.34.8)
and my fans are spinning with ca. 2000 rpm most of the time.
If I run a heavy compilation (i.e. stress the CPU) or fgl_glxgears (i.e.
stress the GPU) the fans will speed up at over 5000 rpm.
I'm NOT using Compiz or Beryl!
