On Debian, create a new file /etc/modprobe.d/appletouch-load:
install usbhid /sbin/modprobe appletouch; /sbin/modprobe
appleir; /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install usbhid $CMDLINE_OPTS
(all in one line)
Don't forget to run "update-initramfs -k all -u" to update the
initramfs. This works for me using the stock 2.6.18-4-686 kernel with
the appletouch module compiled from Julien Blache's mactel-drivers
package (people.debian.org/~jblache/pkg/mactel-drivers/).
Enjoy,
Thomas
hi Thomas. should the /etc/modprobe.d/appletouch-load that you outlined be
used in addition to the /etc/modprobe.d/appletouch that i listed in my
original post?
