as far i tested it, it works quite reliable.
how is the isight connected to the motherboard? usb or firewire? i cant
say it..

Thanks for the link daniel. I tried to compile the uvc drivers from here:

earlier today and they are broken. What timing... :-) isight works great
over here with no problems via ekiga.
