Hi all,

I have macbook c1d, and I'm trying to get lower power consumtion for my
laptop.

I have one question about modules, because if I starts my system a have a
lot
of modules charget into memory, but I no need it if I'm not using.

The some tip to correct this state?

For example, not charge firewire modules if I doesn't run kino.

Thanks

hi Sergio. you could explicitly state which modules not to load when
booting. this would have the desired effect, but isn't exactly an elegant
solution. let me know what you come up with, as i'm interested too; i rarely
use firewire and several other modules.
