Could you describe more in detail what the problem is? I agree that suspending isn't stable on my MBP C2D, but in reality it sort of works for about a week until fglrx freaks. I use Gnome Power Manager to trigger Suspend (to ram) or Hiberate (suspend2disk). Note: I use a 32 bit 2.6.21.1 kernel with suspend2-2.2.9.7-for-2.6.20.patch and mactel-patches-2.6.21 from May 7. ACPI only finds the battery some of the time and I just get one temperature sensor. iSight doesn't work (low prio) and ndiswrapper needs reloading about once a day. Hardly perfect, but I live with it for now... I find that Suspend to ram usually fails in a better way when it fails, so I mostly use that although I would prefer to hibernate. / Jonas -- Jonas Petersson | XMS Penvision | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Box 3294, Västgötegatan 13, S-600 03 Norrköping | www.penvision.se Tel: +46 11 400 13 00 | Dir: +46 11 400 13 05 | Fax: +46 11 10 30 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
