I've submitted "Mobility Feedback" on AMD/ATI's webpage for this
several times with no apparent success.  AMD seems ot have a policy of
not direclty supporting laptops because they say manufacturers should
but I'm sure apple won't help with this.  It might be good if others
also try to submit the same bug/feedback in the hope of getting some
of the developers attention -- this has been around for a long time!
If anyone has the energy calling AMD directly and trying to get a
manager on the phone is probably not a bad idea.
