I'm just a control freak. I like to do things myself. I like to tinker. :-)
I Distro hopped for years like alot of people and then settled down with a
dual boot of Slackware and FreeBSD... Used that for a year or two and then
got restless. Building from the ground up was the only next logical step. I
got tired/bored of LFS for various reasons and then found DIY Linux. So I
use DIY for the base build and mashed BLFS and Slackware together for the
rest of it. People have shown an interest here and there on the Slackware
forums so I threw up a web site.

Soon after I settled on a "name" apple released OSX 10.2... :-) I just never
changed it.
I have a MBP2,2. C2D base model 2.16ghz 1gb ram 128mb X1600 15". The very
first model to contain the C2D chips.
