Hi,

Now that I'm using the new intel driver for the video card (the one
that do not need the BIOS any more) I would like to test booting my
system with EFI (and the possibly the new GRUB).

But I do not really understand how it works. Does someone have any
useful links to share ?

The GRUB Wiki has this page: http://grub.enbug.org/TestingOnEFI
And i do not really understand how it works ?
Is GRUB an EFI application as I think ?
How can I bless it with my linux system ?
Is it possible to keep rEFIt ?

My system uses rEFIt that boots the BIOS GRUB that boot my linux
system. When I installed it, rEFIt allowed me to boot to the EFI
console but as I removed and recreated the EFI system partition, this
choice is no longer avaible.
Do you have any idea why ?

Also, do you know how to change the keymap when you enter the EFI
console ? i have a french keyboard and i would prefer not having to
guess where the symbols are. Do you know if it is possible ?

Thanks

Mildred
