Hi. I have a working microphone (according Gabriel's mail), ekiga
(thanks to Nick Hoffman) and all other things except the apple ir
controller working. I have tried to compile the module alone, but it has
not a make for the compile instructions.
Also i have tried a lot of things: for example, i have added lost
CONFIG_APPLEIR and included HID support but it cannot make it works. How
can i make to compile appleir when i compile kernel 2.6.22.1??
Did you patch the kernel with mactel patches? If yes, and the appleir is still missing in the config, you might be suffering from the same thing I did, if you used an old kernel config as a basis for the new one:

I had a fully functional mactel kernel config for 2.6.21. When I tried using this for 2.6.22 for some reason the appleir - among other things - just disappeared. If I started kernel configuration from scratch, the appleir checkbox was there. So I did a complete reconfigure, which was pretty annoying as it takes over an hour these days because the kernel is so large. Not so in 1999 :).

Hope this helps,

Samuli
