Hey it's ok. that's  what this list is here  for.  WHat you want to do  
is open the dmg file, and find  the Skype.app file, copy it with  
command +c, and then I would close out of that to do back to your   
desktop, hit command shift A to get to your applications folder, and  
then hit command +v to paste it there.  On your desktop, you'll find  
another drive, por what looks like a volume.  That's what the disc  
image has mounted.  it's safe to eject that with command +e.  Hope
