Hmmm. Okay. Once you download the disk image onto your pendrive, and open it, you should see a volume called Skype. In that volume there is a Skype allocation. Copy the skype application with Command C and then use finder to navigate to the Applications folder on your Mac's hard drive, and paste it there. Is this what you wan to do? If so, you should be able to then open it from your Mac's hard drive, and then put/keep it in the dock as you did with Adium and Ichat. Hope this helps...
