Hi, I faced the same problem. I am using a Mac Mini with MythTV on it and am looking at switching to Tangerine. Tangerine is GPL software and is under ddevelopement. MythTV does not use a standard VO accessible interface, ... But Tangerine hopes to plug that hole.
