Anna,

I use the spacebar to stop and start an audio file. It seems to work
for me.

There are several techniques that people use with a Mac computer to
get to a new window. If it is an application window, command+tab. But
I assume that in your case command+tab doesn't work. If there's more
than one window in a given application, then most often command+accent
key which is located immediately to the right of the left shift key on
a laptop keyboard should take you through the open windows in, let's
say, text edit. If that fails, there is a window chooser command
issued with vo+f2 pressed twice quickly. Then you can arrow through
the list of windows and press enter on the one you want.

Hope this helps.

With best wishes

Simon
