Thanks, Søren.  On the U.S. English keyboard the shortcut is Command- 
Colon, but I think you can find the menu option in general by going to  
the Edit menu on the menu bar and finding the submenu for "Spelling  
and Grammar".  I was in the middle of composing a reply to Donna about  
general language issues for the Mac, so this helps!
