Hi Esther, Thanks so much for sending such a detailed response. Unfortunately, I already have that setting set to HTML, and I'm still getting the win.dat files. Now I'm wondering if it has to do with the AVG anti-virus software doing something weird with my outgoing mail. Thanks, though. Donna
