Hello, yes the fact that it is an express version worries me though. I guess I
will see for myself once I have my mac but I have a scanner with a sheetfeeder
that scans multiple pages at a time and also scans both their sides, this is
vital for me. I havent heard back yet from abby sales department or got a
notification that they read my mail.

Well let me chime in here since I did purchase a copy and not sure if I'll
keep it or what. It seems to work well, but my scanner is a multifunction
machine that is connected to the network. I can scan using the HP Scan Pro
software that was bundled, but ABBYY Fine Reader can't cope with this
arrangement and causes the HP software to crash. After talking to tech
support, I got nothing of value for help accept perhaps maybe it could be
addressed in the future. I could of course scan everything to images and let
ABBYY Fine Reader Express take on the task of converting as a work-around, but
not sure if I'm in love with this idea either. So, just be warned that if you
choose this program, you dont' want to be using a networked scanner. I have
not tried with Read Iris, but something tells me this may also be true. As far
as the interface and scan results, it does seem to work well and look around,
you might find a discount coupon for it. Apparently other manufacturers are
interested or are licensing their scanning engine, so they must be pretty good.
