Hello, I am planning to do that yes, i just find it very strange that I cannot
use internet at this moment.
I will call my internet provider to see if i need to enter any information. I
know i did have to do that in the past but my internet provider has changed (it
has been taken over by another) and as i said i did not enter anything into
this computer (the pc i am using now) and it still works.
Greetings, Anouk,

Hello; why don't you just purchase a wireless router? You plug it into your
cable system, and then you could take your laptop anywhere in the house. They
are very cheap and relatively easy to install here. glad to hear we have
another mac user in the fold. have fun with it, Max

Hello, my macbook pro arrived this morning via ups I must say its quick, i
ordered 8 days ago via bank transfer and a custom configuration.
Everything works fine although i get lost in a few dialogs.
I cant connect to the internet htough. I use a cable modem and udner
windows i can just push in the network cable and I am ready to go. Not so now
htough.
Any idea of what routers work best with the mac? I was thinking of getting
a linksis pre-n router, will that work?
If i just configure the touter right and it works on the pc should i also
just be able to plug it into the mac for it to work?
