If that's correct then that will be nice, the big problem with skype at the moment is that you can only use a Skype client to communicate with a Skype client or a Skype client to communicate with others via the PSTN, mobile networks and so for whereas you can get any one of a million VOIP services and use a whole bunch of software - titles such as Express Talk - to use that VOIP service from your computer. Skype cordless phones - in the main - aren't compatible with VOIP because Skype uses its own protocol so that's where Skype may face some difficult competition in the future unless the people address these issues.
