Søren, thanks for this info. I don't generally need Mail reading automatically, but I do use it sometimes to get a feel for the message and if I just want to read it on my own, I just start with the arrow keys. I did follow your directions and they worked perfectly. It would seem that when you switch from high to medium verbosity, something isn't quite happening as it should. The initial setting for text area was default and one would assume that is the medium setting. Well hey it works and good job.
