You made the right choice. I tried to save money and purchased a Mac Mini, and it was definitely the wrong choice. The reason for my disappointment is, that without a monitor, Safari is fundamentally useless. I was advised to purchase an adapter that would allow the Mac Mini to connect to a TV. I received this device in the mail today, and there is no way one can connect it to the mini. So, I am back to square one.
This means that I either take this computer back to the Apple store or purchase a chap monitor. I hope I can find a monitor that is not made by Apple that will work. Apple hardware is quite overpriced. My advice to any perspective Mac users, don't buy a mini, get one of the more expensive systems. You'll most likely end up saving money in the long run. At least I got email to work. On Sep 8, 2009, at 2:18 PM, Les Kriegler wrote: > > The subject line says it all.
