I agree with you. i personally don't like ITunes, and although Apple have
done a fantastic job there are other issues which they have not yet fixed
which I feel should be addressed However, in their defense, the
Accessibility team at Apple is very small and we are not after all Apple's
majority market concern.

Take care

James

Let me just say on the Windows side of things, the problem you describe with
the list view not reading has been present sense 8.2. I dono what the deal
is, but Apple's really starting to piss? me off! They told me the same?
garbage, that o, we aren't having thiws problem either. Go get someone
sighted to hold your hand, change your dighppie, and show you how to
spoonfeed yourself, sota speak. It's like, look, idiots? We're not stupid.
We're not gonna tell you about a bug, if it's not really there. Now Cara,
before you say anything, and to quit downing Apple on list, allow me to
defend myself. I by far! am not! the first person who had this issue. I
spoke to a product specialist named Steve Whyte, who worked with me for
about half a week, on this, said he would escolate things, then apparently
never did. Every time I'd call him to check the status, I'd leave message
after message. He never e-mailed me back, never called me back, never had
anyone else! contact me on his behalf, I was left unknown. I finally just
totally gave up. I pretty much have almost ditched ITunes and went back to
WinAmp. I'm sorry, but, if that's how Apple wants to be regarding this,
then screw it! I got an mp3 player on my T-Mobile dash 3G which doesn't
require ITunes, and I got a subscription to Napster, so it's not like I
can't buy music. I'm just totally saddened though that Apple's not working
any better to fix some a these bugs, especially when they've promised for
now about 2 builds plus one version, that they'd do so. I pretty well put
my Nano 4th gen in a drore, and hardly use it now for this reason. I do use
it some, but not much.

Chris.

Yes, I've had exactly the same experience, and it's really
frustrating. It's especially annoying when I'm trying to get to an
artist (or album) near the middle of the alphabet! Also, if you insert
a CD to import and more than one match is found online, you can no
longer access the list of choices as in the past. Instead, you
encounter the dread "unknown" and are stuck in never-never land. I was
hoping these would be fixed in last night's update. Maybe next time?
