In case you aren't aware, there is an app called Nocturne that will invert your screen as well. The advantage it has is that, when enabled, it will also remove your desktop background. That was always a source of headaches for me, so I prefer this app and have it run on startup. I've put a link to it below. Of course, if the build in option is sufficient, great.
