Ditto. Not that I use dictation but $99 is just wow expensive for
something that can be done at no additional charge.

Hi there
I have not used Dragon, but my first reaction to this is that the dictation on
the Mac is good enough that I would want a lot of benefit more before I would
want to spend $99 for it. I find the one that already comes with Mavericks to
be pretty accurate. Do they let you have a trial first?

Gigi

Hello All,
Dragon is launching a new dictate software for Mac. There is an introductory
price of US $99.99. My question for the list is: With the ability dictate and
navigate the Mac via speech, what would be the avantages in investing in
Dragon? One feature that caught my attention was the ability to transcribe an
single voice audio to script. I have used Dragon Naturally Speaking on the PC
side and have been able to work it with JAWS without J-Say. Also, has anyone
used Dragon with VO running in the bacground for support?
Thanks for any input on this subject. Oh by the way, if anyone is interested,
the promotion goes until 3/31.
Cheers,
Eileen
