Jaws and NVDA should both be SR key-b, or SR key-ctrl-b. SR key is what I'm calling the "screen reader" key - usually caps lock on a laptop, or insert on a full-sized keyboard. If not, and if you are using NVDA, google and download "resource monitor NVDA add-on". It gives you battery, ram usage, disk space, and processor load information.
