Yes, and I found out it works. My husband, who used to teach Excel for 
Brookhaven College, said I didn't understand the purpose of the today and now 
functions. I don't get it completely (because I don't really need to), but it 
has to do with something in the future, like keeping up with something due 
later or something like that. 

For my simple uses, yes, putting the shift with the command v pastes the 
results in there, and mine stayed put.
