Hi Don,
I have used a utility called xmarks from www.xmarks.com.
It is a browser extension that synchronizes favorites from one browser
to another, it works in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome on Windows
and Safari and Chrome on the mac.
You create your account, install the extension on each browser/computer
and forget about it.

I got my mac several months ago and have moved quite a bit of data over from my
windows machine. I have a favorites folder in windows I'd like to move over
to the mac. The folder is currently on a portable hard drive so moving them is
not a problem.
My question is do I move them into bookmarks or favorites. Mac bookmarks
appear to be te same thing as windows favorites. so how can I best get tehse
items into the mac environment so safari will see them.
Thanks,
Don
