Makes you realize that lobbying goes a long way to put forth technologies created by government funded or associative companies to favor their products. It can also have to do with certain agreements made between insurance companies and those bulkware providers. Its all a business at the end of the day, and worse yet, it is a lucrative one in poor countries whether for political or contract attaining reasons.
I've never attended a show on accessibility technologies but if someone gives me this load of crap, i won't go away without some verbiage in favor of alternative solutions to all these obsolete feeling accessories like those i found at the royal institute for the blind. It felt like a museum doing a garage sale.
