That's interesting. I just let my Mac and iPod fight it out over my Focus 40 Blue. It's first -every, first serve. Most ofthe time it works, but sometimes I have to power the display off and on again. I don't even mess with Bluetooth settings once everything's paired.
I'm very familiar with the output device situation you describe. I've been in several of those jams myself, and the Braille display got me out of all of them.
