I forgot, these are add-on services that aren't built into OSX. You can 
download the service pack from the below link.

Once there, use VO-F to search for "WordService" and download that freeware 
app. Its a collection of some really great text processing services that'll be 
available in any COCO app that deals with text processing and appear in the 
services menu.
You need to install them into the somewhere in the library folder - read the 
help file that comes with the package and it'll tell you how to do it.
I heard about it on this list a few weeks ago and tried it out - glad I did.
