As I said yesterday, vo-space is almost never required. Try using space or enter instead, and see if that doesn't help to mitigate the problem. I haven't noticed it at all in Mavericks, but then I rarely use vo-space. Most times, with buttons in dialogs or web forms, you can press space by itself.
