If you go to the Applications folder (or just commnad-shift-A while in
Finder) then type "gar" to highlight garage band. Then hit command-I for
info on the file. The 6th item or so in the General section is Version.
Mine says 10.0.2 on a fully patched OSX 10.9 system.
