Have you tried tunnel Bear or Cloak?

They both had their accessibility issues, but I found them doable.  Since I'm a 
light user of VPNs, I'll stick with Tunnel Bear.  If you tweet about them each 
Month, I think you get a free extra gig.  Both apps have iPhone apps as well.
