In the keyboard preferences of terminal, make sure that use option as meta key
is checked.
In an editor, all of the standard readline keys apply such as control-a to move
to beginning of the line or control-e to move focus to the end, control-k to
kill text from the focus to the end and control-y to yank killed text and so on.
Arrow keys also work as normal in nano or emacs.
When you move focus with the standard commands, vo tracks and reads the focus.

Hi Alex,

So do the same things apply to using things like nano in terminal?
