Hi all, I have always been of the opinion that if there is viable software on my device to accomplish a certain task, then there is no reason to install additional software that duplicates built-in functionality, unless that additional software brings some kind of added value. Is there any reason why one would be better off with one of these apps than with time machine? Time Machine has always worked for me, though I have never had a hard disk crash, so haven't really had to put it to the test. But I have restored from Time Machine Backups onto new Macs, and that process has always gone quite well. Cheers, Donna On Aug 26, 2014, at 6:32 AM, Christopher Hallsworth <[email protected]> wrote:
