Oh, it's not passing the keycode absolutely; not helpful.  i had a screen 
reader do that on me and locked me out of my main app. You might want to 
consider an external keyboard after all.

I am doing this, but as soon as I press the caps lock key whether I hold it 
or not, it says caps lock on.
