Sign out of Dropbox on all 3. Sign back in with the same account and ID. See if that takes care of it.

I try deleting the DropBox application over from applications to trash, but 
DropBox cannot be deleted because it is running.

Running and quitting DropBox does not produce the desired effect. I try force 
quit, and the quit button  is dimmed..

Any help is appreciated.
