I do not want to mislead you, there may be a bookmarking feature in Pages, I simply have not investigated as I find the other method easier even in using multiple Word Processors like Word on the Windows platform where such features exist. It served me find through my PhD anyway and you can simply do a find and replace to get rid of any bookmarks for a final proofed version of your work if necessary.

Hi David,
this method was going to be my fall back method if I couldn't find anything
other way of bookmarking.
Its too bad there aren't any bookmarking features.

The method I use in all word processors is to type a few *** and then simply
use the inbuilt find command to jump to each of these.

If necessaries you could type ***1 ***2 etc to number bookmarks. In my
experience this is much quicker and easier to do than most inbuilt bookmarking
functions in any word processor.

HI all,
Is it possible to place bookmarks in pages or text edit? If I am reading a
lengthy publication, I want to be able to place a bookmark so I can close the
document and open it to where I left off or return to where I left off.
Thanks
